We have been coming to Rosi La Loca Restaurant since 2018 — it’s been a regular stop for us every year when visiting Madrid during our trips to Europe. Unfortunately, this visit was very disappointing and will likely be our last.
We were seated on the underground floor, where there was a noticeable and persistent smell of cleaning products or air fresheners. While I certainly appreciate cleanliness, this type of scent is not pleasant in a dining environment — it interfered with the experience of enjoying our meal.
We started with the patatas bravas, the restaurant’s signature and most highlighted dish, but unfortunately, they were very disappointing this time. The potatoes were dry, and the sauce lacked flavor. It was so unappealing that we did not even finish the dish.
Additionally, the new digital menu system was frustrating to use. While I understand and appreciate the move toward digital menus via QR codes, the interface was confusing. It appeared as though we could add items to a cart to place an order, but that functionality was not actually available. If the restaurant plans to use an app-based menu, it should be made intuitive and fully functional; otherwise, a standard digital menu would suffice.
Moreover, one of our dishes contained a small piece of wood from a skewer, which I accidentally bit into. Thankfully, no serious harm was done, but it was quite concerning.
Overall, it feels like the restaurant’s focus has shifted more toward ambiance and decoration rather than maintaining the high quality of food that originally made us fall in love with this place.
That said, I would like to acknowledge the staff — the service remains excellent. The team was very attentive, and the manager was kind enough to offer a complimentary dish for the inconvenience, which we truly appreciated.
If the restaurant could address the strong scents in the dining area and refocus on improving the quality and consistency of the food, we would gladly consider returning in the future. Until then, it’s with regret that we’ll have to say goodbye to what was once one of our favorite stops in Madrid

Amazing Spanish Meal!
The Paella Valenciana was a hit—fresh seafood, saffron rice full of flavor. Award-Winning Patatas Bravas were crispy outside, fluffy inside, with tangy sauce. Beef Bourguignon Fettuccine? Tender beef and creamy sauce, so comforting!
Huge thanks to Edwing for top-notch service—attentive, gave great wine tips, and kept our experience smooth. Will be back!

It's hard to notice this restaurant when you passed through it.
It was literally pink & quirky. Head turning is the best description for the restaurant.
The designed was popping out, and attracted every eyes that could see it.
We waited for quite some time because many people were like us, curious and wanted to experience to dine in such a unique place.
At last we got to seat on the outdoor patio area.
We ordered jamon and pork paella, beer and sangria.
The food were tasty & flavorful. The drinks were sweet & refreshing.
I think as a restaurant, it's both pleasing to the eyes & stomach. A nice experience overall.

One of the best experiences in dinning I have had. The service was superb. The atmosphere and decor is fun and lively. The taco no mane’s dude were delightful, light and full of flavor. The Udon noodles with tuna tartar was seasoned to perfections. The Boletus Rice exceeded my expectations, creamy, tender rice with a mushroom/truffle flavor. We also got to meet the infamous Edwin, La Reina. He great possible energy and the friendliest smile.

Super creative place & food presentation, average taste & prompt service.
Tips*: Highly recommended to book in advance.
Our group really enjoyed the decorations of the restaurant and how the food were presented. The menu turned normal dishes into something interesting. The taste was ok , yet ; nothing outstanding.
The service was quick and effective.
